We are very excited to present this year’s Community Guide Celebrating our 10-year anniversary with the establishment of the Almaguin Highlands Chamber of Commerce representing the businesses of our vast region!
Commencing in 2014 as a “Not-For-Profit” organization founded by business members of our community, the Almaguin Highlands Chamber of Commerce has grown to be recognized as the the voice of businesses with all 3 levels of government, Federal, Provincial, and most importantly, the local municipalities in which our members operate and live! With thanks to our partnership with ACED, the collaboration has served to benefit all recipients in our region. We share the same ideology and passion for economic development.
I wish to thank all the Board members, past and present, for their devotion to the community and the Chamber, selflessly volunteering their time over the last 10 years with the passion for introducing and enhancing the Almaguin Region to the rest of our province, country, and world!
We are proud to announce the hiring of our 1st staff member, Sandra Connell as Executive Director, to further represent and support our Chamber with the vision to encourage economic growth on behalf of our members!
The Almaguin Highlands Chamber of Commerce Community Guide is a magazine of the highest quality, showcasing local content, local events, local businesses, and local communities!
